Privacy Policy

What this site collects, why, and what happens to it.

This document is a draft pending review and approval. It is published here so the information is available, and it will be replaced by the final approved version before it takes effect.

What we collect

When you submit the consultation form on this site, you give us your name, your email address, your phone number, and whatever you choose to write in the free text message field. The form also records which treatment you selected and the time of day you said you prefer, when you fill those in. Nothing else on this site asks you for personal information.

You are never required to write anything sensitive in the message field. Please keep it to what you want to discuss at a consultation. Detailed medical history belongs in the consultation itself, not in a web form.

Like most websites, this one also records basic technical and usage information through analytics: pages viewed, approximate location derived from your network, the referring site, and the type of device and browser you used. Analytics only run after you accept cookies in the banner shown on your first visit.

Why we collect it

Your contact details are used for two things: to schedule your consultation, and to answer the question you asked. That is the whole purpose.

Usage information is used to understand which pages help people and which do not, so the site can be improved.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

The only third parties who handle it are the service providers we need in order to operate: the website host, the form and scheduling tooling that delivers your enquiry to the practice, and the analytics provider. Each of them handles your information on our instructions and for no other purpose. [TO CONFIRM WITH CLIENT: the named list of processors currently in use, including the booking and CRM tools that receive form submissions.]

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Consultation enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain the practice's own business records. [TO CONFIRM WITH CLIENT: retention period for consultation enquiries, and the retention period for records of clients who go on to be treated.]

Analytics data is retained according to the analytics provider's own settings. [TO CONFIRM WITH CLIENT: configured analytics retention window.]

Cookies and analytics

On your first visit this site asks whether you accept cookies used to measure site traffic. If you decline, those cookies are not set and analytics does not run. Your choice is remembered in your browser, and you can change it by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Cookies strictly required to make the site function are not covered by that choice, because without them the site would not work.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do that, contact the practice using the details on the contact page.

[TO CONFIRM WITH CLIENT: the dedicated contact route for privacy requests, the response window the practice commits to, and which statutory privacy rights framework applies to this practice and its clients.]

Children

This site is not directed at children, and the consultation form is not intended for use by children. [TO CONFIRM WITH CLIENT: the minimum age the practice treats, and whether guardian consent applies below it.]

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
